All are welcome

I welcome clients of all races, religions, countries of origin, sexual orientations, genders and abilities. You’re safe with me.

I conduct my business in accordance with the Federal Fair Housing Law, which states it’s illegal to discriminate against any person because of Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Handicap, Familial Status, or National Origin.

Why work with me?

I’m a full-time real estate advisor and my clients are my top priority. My goal is that selling or buying your home will feel simple, be profitable, and even fun for you. I care about your investment, security, and peace of mind. I’m patient, kind, empathetic, resourceful, responsive, persistent, creative, organized, trustworthy, discreet, a skilled negotiator, well-connected, lighthearted, and love what I do. I work strategically and fast. I help my clients get crystal clear about their goals for buying and selling, and work to achieve them ASAP.

I specialize in strategic and creative home marketing, marketing homes with exceptional architecture and design, condos, historic homes, out-of-state buyer relocations, and international home purchasing and sales. I live in and primarily work within the Grand Rapids city limits, although I also serve all of West Michigan, including the Lakeshore. I’m also happy to refer you to real estate agents I’ve personally vetted across the country and world.

I welcome clients relocating to Grand Rapids and will help you make sense of the area, local businesses, and competitive market here. I’m pleased to offer the option to meet with clients at any of the the many offices Five Star Real Estate has located across Michigan.

Hiring a real estate agent

Most home buyers and sellers work with an agent they’ve done business with before, or someone they’ve been referred to through family or friends. You’re not alone if you feel obligated to work with an agent, and don’t want to offend someone or hurt anyone’s feelings.

Here’s my suggestion: I recommend you interview at least 2 real estate agents before you hire one. Include the agent(s) you feel obligated to work with. I invite you to interview me as well. The interview can be in person, over Zoom, or even a phone call to confirm what each agent brings to the table. This is one of the most significant financial transactions you’ll make in your lifetime and it’s important to be represented by someone local you like and trust to advocate for your best interests and to work strategically on your behalf.

If you’re a home buyer, in most cases, my broker fee will be paid by the home seller of the home you buy. I will be transparent about your home buying expenses and my compensation in our initial consultation or interview.

If you’re a home seller, I will be transparent about your home selling expenses and my compensation in our initial consultation or interview.
